Has Alabama's new governor crossed the line?

We have a new Governor in Alabama. I have lived here since 1964. I read this today and now I'm a little frightened. I'm Jewish and the Governor has made it clear how he feels.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley told a church crowd just moments into his new administration that those who have not accepted Jesus as their savior are not his brothers and sisters, shocking some critics who questioned Tuesday whether he can be fair to non-Christians.

"Anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I'm telling you, you're not my brother and you're not my sister, and I want to be your brother," Bentley said Monday, his inauguration day, according to The Birmingham News.

The Anti-Defamation League on Tuesday called Bentley's remarks shocking.

"His comments are not only offensive, but also raise serious questions as to whether non-Christians can expect to receive equal treatment during his tenure as governor," said Bill Nigut, the ADL's regional director.

Should I be worried??

Sounds a bit naive but not dangerous. I'm more concerned about the 15% of Americans who are hard core Jew haters. I'm concerned that the Church of England and many similar protestant denominations are openly boycotting the Jews in the Land of Yisrael and are supporting the terrorists who blew up thousands of westerners before going back to just killing Jews. I'm concerned that Wikileaks reveals that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are dependent on the modern state of Israel for mutual defense against Iran, yet they have laws against Jews in their own countries. I am concerned that no major US news organization, not even Fox News, reports on almost daily rocket attacks against Yisrael. I am concerned that most Democrats and some Republicans want to give permanent amnesty to undocumented immigrants without even attempting to screen out the 33% who are hard core Jew haters. I am concerned that even most Jewish politicians think it is a great idea to create a path to citizenship for 5-10 million hard core Jew haters, as if we need more Judenhass.
The governor may have a simplistic view of religion, but he does not appear to have any actual malice, especially compared to people who express outright hatred for the Children of Yisrael.
