Hi, this is interesting. I had gone to the local library here in Lincolnshire, IL to find Bernie's new book Crazies To The Left of Me and to the left of his book on the library shelf was Al Franken's Truth with Jokes. Not sure how Bernie would react to that one. I got a chuckle out of it...can't remember what book was to the right tho

Several terrorists attacks were against liberal journalists and a liberal US Senator... Crazy is when you want to hinder the CIA and the US military when they are your best defense against your true enemies. The crazies are hardly limited to the left. In fact, there are probably a lot more right-wing loonies out there than
left-wing ones. All the Bible-thumping, inbred Hillbilly Neanderthal religious wackos , the anti-tax whack jobs,
the paranoid -about-communism coming-coming-to America-under Obama lunatics, the conspiracy theory nut cases,
the homophobic bigots,the anti-abortion fanatics, the birther maniacs, etc.
Let's face it; the left has absolutely no real power in America. People like Obama,Pelosi,Reid,Biden, etc aren't even really leftists. But the right in America always labels them as left-wing extremists. This nation as a whole has gone so far to the right it's practically in another dimension; a sort of bizarro world where any one who is even slightly less conservative than Archie Bunker is automatically labeled a "socialist,Marxist and communist". The late Barry Goldwater used to call himself a conservative, but by today's standards he was a flaming liberal.
Today's right-wingers make Atilla the Hun,Genghis Khan and Tamerlane look liberal. The spirit of Senator Joe McCarthy has unfortunately been revived, and there are actually sme people today who defend and whitewash this arch scoundrel.

I find it real interesting that us right-wing Tea Party, Bible spouting, gun toting types strike such fear into your liberal soul and yet the folks I see foaming at the mouth, carrying swastika emblazoned signs and making death threats to elected officials are the liberal left looney-tune union thugs in Wisconsin and Ohio and so forth.

Yes, I know, there were Democratic Congresses for some of that time. But there were Republican presidents who signed the budget bills. Go take a clear unbiased look at history. It ain't as clear-cut as you would like to describe it.

I'll explain it to you: I was surprised that anyone could actually believe that the left have no power, considering the guy currently in the WH and the people who make up the majority in the Senate. With that mindset, it would be a waste of time to explain the fallacy of that statement.

If you truly believe that the above statement is true, then that just shows how radically far out on the lunatic left fringe you really are.

But this is increasingle Obama's main problem. His lunatic fringe base- the Obamabots- are expecting him to govern as he campaigned. Remember, the messiah campaigned on a massive tranfer of weath from the Producers to the Parasites in society, closing Gitmo, unilaterally retreating in Iraq, single-payer health care and making the world 'love us again' by agreeing with them how rotten the United States is (only when a Republican is in the White House of course). To the likes of MSNBC, Daily KOS, the Huffington Post, Code Pink, the editorial page of The New York Times and our dear friend superhorn, the fact that Obama has done none of these things means that he is insufficiently ideologically radical. If Obama has learned anything in his abysmal two years in office, it is that to run for office and actually run the office are two vastly different things. So far, he has proven to be not up to the task.
