Rosie Is Right

Unread postby Paul Kyler » Fri Apr 06, 2007 8:37 pm

I am a graduate of the University Of Notre Dame (Electrical Engineering).
Just wanted to see if Bernard Goldberg and his supporters here could stand to have someone who disagrees with him posting a subject and comments here. I saw Mr. Goldberg on with Bill O'Reilly. He said that Rosie's public statements regarding 9/11 were not only controversial but insane. I disagree. I think Rosie is asking the right and reasonable questions regarding what really happened on 9/11. She is a patriot and a hero.

She is a patriot? How can she be that? She is an internationalist. Do your research on what she has publicly stated.

Put it to you this way, Paul. You are a junior detailer after graduation and you hope to achieve an engineering classification one day in your career, so you can make the big money. Your design group leader (your immediate boss) has just asked you to clean up a design on a minor pneumatic system change where you have electrical solenoids regulating the air valves pressures for an air assist jack. He says, Paul, make sure you just cleanup the tolerances on the contacts for the relay sensors regarding the max pressure the valve seals can sustain and reconcile them in the design at 50% below the max setting for the valve pressure seal rating. You do and more in redesigning the whole project. Are you a great junior detailer for getting off what was important in focus for the project. No, because you were also concerned with what others were doing out of your circle of concern such as project engineering. That’s Rosie’s problem, she is too concerned with what Europe thinks more than us here at home in America. She is an internationalist not an American. My point here is this in simile. You can not be a junior detailer and a project engineer at the same time no more than you can be a great American and an internationalist at the same time.

Definition of "hero":

1. a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal: He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child.
3. the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc.
4. Classical Mythology. a. a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity.
b. (in the Homeric period) a warrior-chieftain of special strength, courage, or ability.
c. (in later antiquity) an immortal being; demigod.
5. hero sandwich.
6. the bread or roll used in making a hero sandwich.

I don't know about you, but I think Rosie would be more closely defined with definitions #5 and #6 than any of the other ones.

In the interest of accuracy, she not only resembles those two items, but she has consumed too many of them! Don't know if that has anything to do with the fact that she's a raving maniac, though.

I do believe that our local contingent of the tinfoil hat brigade has just increased by one.

Heck, more than just one. Just so our new "friends" can't hoarde all the fun, I've found these clever instructions on how to make our own tin foil hats.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering not electronics (you can get that at the trade school you went to).

In fact the problem with your thoughts here is that you are thinking like an electrician not an engineer. Engineers must keep the big picture in mind always.

Yeah, once again the ten year old little boys are out with their grade school mutterances.

Thank you for helping me figure it out.
All you muscle heads who talk like O'Reilley, Hannity...etc are just a bunch of little boys who never really grew up. It is so pathetic how obvious this is. I mean you losers can't even stop yourselves from talking like fifth graders even if you want to. Thank you Rosie for revealing the real soft underbellies of America.

Oh no...I don't have a cat. I could probably make several for my daughter's hamster though.

I think Rosie would resent that remark because that would be putting her in the league of radical Christianity (i.e. being inspired by God) who she says is just as bad as radical Islam.

Hey, Paul...you're as free to disagree with Bernard Goldberg as I'm as free to disagree with Rosie. Don't take it personally, but the tin hat conversation was just for fun. Good luck with your engineering endeavors.
