Granted, she does appear to be in the driver's seat for the DNC nomination. Still, a lot can happen between now and November, 2008.

This republic is so incredibly tainted, that YES Hillary will win in 2008. What the hell is the difference so she is a socialist..yes she will raise taxes, she will most likely deal with Iran militarily, and don't forget nationalized Healthcare. Under Bill Clinton our sovereignty was sold out to NAFTA and CAFTA, Under George W Bush our borders were nullified with 12-15 million illegals marching in our cities invading our country.

Its called world socialism, we are all witnessing the DEATH of the "nation state"......it is the "Natural Law" for the select elite minority ie Bush, Rockefeller, Clinton, Bill Gates, Rupert Murdock etc etc etc to LEAD and CONTROL the herd!!! I love America, and I hate to say it but the vast majority of our citizens are grossly ignorant......I am sure that the people expressing articulate opinions on this board who strike me as informed represent such a dismally small percentage of this country!!!

I speak about firearm ownership alot and I am a firm believer in our right as citizens to own guns......that said I know the only reason our guns havn't been seized yet is because of the NRA the largest lobby in Washington. Disarming the sheeple is exactly what the Neo-cons, socialist, communists want.......why because armed citizens to some degree pose a threat to the state!!!

Mr. Sinatra....you must be joking, do you seriously believe that our national and individual sovereignty has not been compromised??? Neo-Con, Socialist, Communist are all just labels, try pealing off the labels and you get the same result "Collectivism" or a society which has limited privileges dictated to it by the "elite" class.

I am not being an alarmist, its called realism regarding human nature........given the opportunity man will become tyrannical as an elite class over the dulled masses. We are a nation of laws "The Constitution", however that has been bastardized into what we have now about a 10 mile high stack of "administrative" laws that permits the destruction of our sovereignty via that administrative/concocted sub-constitutional law!!! Try going to law school, and spend some time in the library examining the unending stacks of federal rules, regs and laws regarding property seizure without DUE PROCESS, firearms laws and regs, and our Draconian prison system where gang rape is a common occurrence.......seems like cruel and unusual punishment to be held down and forcibly sodomized by 20 convicts!!!!!

And, yet, we can turn the tables on you. Who are the most likely to go to law school in the US....usually members of the "elite". Who are the ones enforcing, upholding, etc., the laws....or, more appropriately, bending the laws....for their cases? These same lawyers. You've implied and stated several times on here about how you come from money, so which are we supposed to believe?

I took a Constitutional History class in college - basically a pre-req. for law students. The one thing that I learned: it was biased s bomb! We only learned the cases that either created new Amendments, reversed previous cases, or did anything that the ACLU would be/is proud of. I though, at the time, that I was actually learning something. Three years later: I know better.

From what I've been hearing lately, there's no guarantee Hillary will get the nomination. I tend to agree with Ed on this one. She has too much baggage weighing her down. I've heard on the news a lot of democrats consider her unelectable.

The democrat primary should be one hell of a shoot out with Dean, Kerry, Clinton, Gore and possibly Edwards in the mix. Dean being the head of the DNC does not like the Clinton's due to their shooting him down in the last primary, remember how they shoved Wesley Clark into the fray and destroyed Dean.

I'm placing bets on Dean or Kerry on both the DNC and the Presidential election (unless the Republicans can put together someone worth the nomination....even though I'll vote for whomever it is to keep either of the former two out of office). Gore has become too much of a nutcase as of lately to appeal to the masses, Hillary has a tendency of repelling men (she'd win the female vote, but that's about it...minus mine, that is), and Edwards is too soft. Either way, I'm already cringing at the outcome.

Beaburt is right. I know, I know you can pick up your jaw from the floor, but what he has said regarding the Nation and the bastardizing of the Constitution. Bush has screwed up horribly in several areas. NAFTA was the beginning of the end of our relatively higher standard of living in this country.
