Santorum shows his arrogance

I just heard Rick Santorum say that the voters in the center have to move to the conservative point of view. He just showed his arrogance. The voters are right, not the would-be Republican candidate. How arrogant is he? Very, indeed! You guys are headed to another defeat. Deservedly so.

You'll get no argument from me that Santorum is a fool in some respects, but you strike me as too decent a person to think that our great nation in any way deserves to be destroyed by Obama.

Actually, if Santorum said that, he's a bit behind the times.

I think the electorate moved to the right in 2010. The President doubled down on his radical leftist policies and moved even further left. At this point, he's pretty much alienated everyone not in a union or a member of the media.

It's more than possible that Obama will win against a weak GOP candidate. That might well be the most hollow of victories because the odds are even better that the GOP will take over the Senate and expand its House majority, meaning that not only will the Left not get anything done for the next four years (Obama is no Bill Clinton) but nor will the Right be able to do anything. Gridlock might just be the best possible outcome.

Besides, if anyone displays a breathtaking amount of arrogance on a near daily basis, it is The Anointed One. For one so short on accomplishments, he sure thinks highly of himself. If the media were not so slavishly devoted to him, he'd be another Biden- admittedly with better hair.
