War on Women

The White House 2011 Report on the Status of Women that Valerie Jarrett chaired is often ignored by our President and Democrats. Women tend to make about 80% of the income levels but have a daily work schedule that is about 85% of their male counterparts (7 hours 40 minutes per day vs 8 hours 50 minutes per day). This means that women make almost the same salary as men on an hourly basis. Also, women still do not occupy the higher paying construction and engineering jobs in equal numbers, choosing lower paying occupations instead. In truth, women do not make lower salaries than men when properly compared.
