I really think someone should take the time to clean up your forums! You're being raided by these dirty links and etc!

I'm just saying...

It's really pathetic how these people (or bots) think that normal folks will subscribe to their garbage!

Yuck!

The porn links used to really bug me, but I've just gotten used to it and it's just so much background noise for me. I'm not sure anyone can really fix the problem. I suspect some are actual people who have nothing better to do. Some might even be paid to post the links in hopes that it will draw customers. Who knows (or really cares) what the internet porn industry does to advertise these days.

I noticed porn in a forum recently. If it's posted by kids who are trying to shock people for giggles, they will go away if they are ignored. Parental notification would be helpful and it would even be possible if the kids were posting from a computer that was under their own family's name; but if they are using computers that are not their own, they could probably not be traced.

It would help parents to keep track of their kids if computers could be programmed to include a "parental notification" icon that was posted with all transmissions.

it isn't kids.

its mostly russians actually. a lot of it is automated, or partially automated. the idea is to register, put a link in your profile, and have people visit your site, and have google rank ur site higher. its the same as email spam, just on a msg board.

i hate these people and wish they all would die. hopefully, phpbb 3.0 (which is now release candidate 1) is better at defeating it.
