We need a seperate forum for debating historial issues

Unread postby Estil » Fri May 21, 2010 8:27 am

Now, we already have one for current events obviously, but why not have one for debating historical events for example:

*Were the atomic bomb droppings to end WWII justified?
*Was FDR the savior of America from the Great Depression, or did he really make it worse?
*What if the Equal Rights Amendment had made it to the Constitution?
*Could the war in Vietnam had been won?
*Should Bush 41 had "finished the job" and tried to capture Saddam Hussein when he had the chance?

And so on.

That sounds like an excellent idea to me, Estil. We will look into it.

Let me know what the verdict is. I'm sure it'd be quite useful and popular.

For what it's worth, I, too, think it would be enjoyable.

Wow! Thank you VERY much!

However, I'm having trouble getting into it, even when I'm logged in. It keeps saying that I don't have permission to read it. Is it just me, or does some kind of switch need to be pulled?

Thanks again!
