A BRAVO to Bernie for jumping in on this one. It was clear from the context, with Jon Stewart's comment preceding Obama's response, that the Prez simply employed the same word "optimal". So I totally agree, it's right to cut him slack on this. Mitt clearly left out "resumes" in the haste of the "binders" moment and anyone with half a brain could surmise that and cut him the same slack. But the "journalists" on cable were ready to pounce and being so offended, they just had to take the phrase as spoken. (You gotta see Jessica Yellin, CNN White House correspondent, voice her outrage)!! Net net, let's not stoop to that inane strategy. We have substance on our side.

Anyone who thinks Romney is not a typical male chauvinist is delusional. Just look at the number of woman that worked as executives at Bain Capital – Zero.

And, all this nonsense about the U.S. consulate in Libya and whether there should have been a platoon of troops there armed and ready is just pure political garbage. Romney is so far behind in the polls, he must come back with something. Romney needs to get his facts straight before he accuses President Obama of wrong doing. Romney is an arrogant white racist Plutocrat whose sole goal is to make himself and the wealthy – the Plutocracy much wealthier, while destroying the middle class and making then accept sub-standard wages. Romney would love to do away with the minimum wages laws and OSHA. He probably thinks all American workers should be paid ($0.99 cents per hour or less) and treated like workers in China (sweatshops) – then he and Bain Capital would not need to outsource jobs to China – total traitors to America and America’s middle class.

And, then Mitt flipped again on his position of birth control. Two-thirds of the women ages 18-24 takes birth control pills. How any anti-birth-control or and anti-abortion politicians think they can win the women’s vote is beyond me.

The GOP better get this straight; the majority of the women in American are pro-abortion and pro-birth control. And, the majority of women believe Planned Parenthood is a great organization that deserves Federal Funding. My wife told me yesterday, “why don’t all you men stay out of what is solely a woman’s choice – no man has the right to control women.”

And, anyone that thinks that a university hospital own by any church, e.g., the Catholic church has the right to exclude birth control pills from the hospital’s medical plan is insane. All these religious university hospitals receive Federal Funding; therefore, if they want the funding, they must include birth control pills under their medical insurance plans. This is 2013, the religious right needs to get a grip with reality. Here is the reality, if you don’t want to take the pill, don’t! If you don’t want an abortion, don’t! You cannot deny either of these rights to women. Over 66% of all women have taken birth control pills at one time in their lives

“The Catholic Church hierarchy opposes contraception while the vast majority of its adherents do not. Ninety-eight percent of sexually active Catholic women use some form of contraception, indicating that the vast majority of Catholic women do not share the official views of the Church with respect to birth control. Mutual respect for religious beliefs is part of what makes America an attractive place for many, but there comes a time when it must bow to the needs of public health.”

Even the largest Utah newspaper thinks Romney is a total flip-flopper on issues – what can you believe that comes out of Mitt’s mouth?

"In a blow to Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, Utah's largest newspaper today slammed his candidacy and endorsed President Obama instead….In considering which candidate to endorse, the Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem-solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago," the editorial board wrote. "Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb."
