Bernie and the Today Shows interview of the Iran President

Last night on O'Reilly Bernie correctly questioned the wisdom (he was being generous, I would have been much more scathing, but lack Bernie's "finesse") of the Today Show's interview of the Iranian President. Hopefully the Today Show will follow up with a more critical interview. However, the reason for the soft ball interview is clear.

Liberals, including the Today Show's hosts, judge people not by their behavior but by who they are (read "which group they belong to"). Therefore, Muslims are an oppressed group (good), Israel, Britain and America are oppressors (bad), men are sexist (bad), women are oppressed (good), Gays are oppressed (good), Boy Scouts are oppressors (bad). It is simple. No need to critically think about behavior. Just look at the person and make value judgements based on pre-judged criteria.

However, don't call liberals "prejudiced". They will educate you that "liberalism" is the very personification of all things "anti-prejudiced". And don't ask them to think, Heaven forbid. Heck, they all had an original reconsideration of their views sometime during High School when some singer songwriter taught them to suspect their country. No....liberals just "feel more" than the rest of us clueless morons.
