Yeah, I would just like to say that both parties have lost direction: The Democratic Party after Kennedy got assasinated and the Republicans after Reagan left office. All I hear around me is petty infighting and street gang like rhetoric in a very shrill tone with very tired rhetoric. Both parties can just forget about the way it used to be because political independents like myself are coming in and we're tired of having our options limited. I'm also tired of hearing how Party X is causing all our problems or that Party Y is causing all our problems. Give me a break. I'm going to take the best ideas from everywhere. Conservatism, in particular, needs to get back to it's Burkeian roots. It's no surprise that it ended up falling apart and losing it's way because power became more important than ideas.
